Pastor Bryan Johnson is the Principal of the New Covenant International Bible College in Auckland, New Zealand. He is also the Dean of Global Mission & Leadership, Senior Lecturer in Mission, Islam, Cross Cultural Communication, Cross Cultural Evangelism, Shepherding and Urban Church planting.
Bryan studied law and trained as an accountant before going to Bible College. He has had nine years experience as a cross-cultural missionary to Muslims in Indonesia, Singapore and Hong Kong and ministered in Asia, Africa, North America and Europe. In New Zealand he has been involved in church based ministry and pioneering church planting amongst minority peoples.
Bryan has also been involved in pioneering a movement of mission and discipleship bases in a variety of nations for the purpose of mobilising two-thirds world Christians in missions and Church planting. His studies on how to use discipleship and missionary training in an institutional environment to assist candidates to lose their ethnocentrism, but value the unique purpose of God in their culture was published in the WEF Missions Cross Cultural Training Bulletin. These concepts have been trialed in the New Covenant International Bible College which he leads.
